Excerpt:
The spiritual life cannot be imagined as a lifestyle
which does not have anything in common with the usual
way of living. On the contrary, it has to be understood
as a transformed usual way of living. Only the usually
lived daily life can be the ”breeding ground“ of the
higher life. However, the fruit of this higher life will
only appear when a seed is sown. The seed is the noble
morality.
All misery accompanying the life of human beings comes
from the illusory conviction that the individual is
independent. Troubled by this misery, one believes that
they have to struggle to preserve their existence.
Therefore, they fight with their fellow beings and don’t
even think of the fact that their time, as well as their
life, is precisely defined by the destiny and these
cannot be prolonged in any way, not even by an hour.
However, they should understand that the outer happiness
sought for can only come from the inner harmony which
improves the conditions for coexistence of all human
beings. However, for this understanding a change in
one’s philosophy of life is needed. |
