The Secret of Tibet 1, 2 - Květoslav Minařík
characterised the Tibetan texts, contained in
a two-volume The Secret of Tibet as the deepest
and most interesting writing in the European literature
on mysticism and psychology. He has projected his direct
life and mystic experience into the comments and, based
on them, he explains the Tibetan text using the
terminology of the modern psychology. Especially in
places where he deals with the nature and function of
consciousness as the most important factor of existence,
he shows the world Psychology the direction of a new way
and new horizons.
He emphasizes predominantly the relationships between
the right way of living from the point of view of
morality on one side, and the personal destinies of an
individual as well as those of the entire society, on
the other side. Therefore this book is the most
significant handbook of the methodology of life; with
its help the reader can not only remove ignorance, they
can also create preconditions for satisfaction.

Excerpts:
...As long as a person can govern their inclinations,
emotions, etc., they are holding in hand the keys to
their own future destiny. However, it is almost a rule
that people use these keys incorrectly. Instead of
rejecting the impulses manifesting as wanting, they
accept them.
...The mysticism is not a philosophy, it is a way of
life. Everyone can study it. It seems to me that the
nations of the western continents are karmically
sufficiently mature to be able to think about the karmic
meaning of the psychological factors, which continue to
form the being, although they have come from the karmic
predispositions and this path does not finish before the
person renounces everything for good. |
